J. Ando Plumbing is proud to have designed and installed at the 500 Seneca building; a dynamic mixed use development located in Buffalo’s Hydraulics District.

The project involved the adaptive reuse of the historic former factory and offices of the F.N. Burt Company, which at one time was the world’s largest manufacturer of paper boxes.

The building has been transformed into a mixed use development facility featuring over 300,000 square feet of space for Class A offices, loft apartments, cultural space and storage space for tenants. The building features a large multi-story interior green atrium area, courtyard, tenant activity center with outdoor patio, conference center, fitness center, Animal Outfitters Doggy Daycare, The Lunch Box eatery, Phoenix RisingTherapeutic Massage and Bodywork, Crown salon and in summer of 2017, Dobutsu restaurant.

Conventus is a 350,000-square-foot medical office complex that is a centerpiece of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The seven-story building is a Class A office building that was designed to encourage collaboration among Medical Campus entities. The building, which includes two floors of below-grade parking with 332 spaces, includes two floors apiece for UBMD and Kaleida Health, along with a state-owned floor used by drug development company Athenex Inc.

We designed and installed a new plumbing system for this beautiful, 5-Star boutique hotel built inside of a renovated historic landmark of downtown Buffalo. The Curtiss features 68 ultra-luxurious rooms with marble bathrooms, a 200+ seat casual upscale restaurant with a revolving bar, a rooftop bar & lounge, a salon & spa, and an all-weather Urban Hot Springs experience.
